Stella has been interested in music since she was a wee little girl. She joined the Los Angeles branch of the National Children’s Chorus (NCC) as a ripe first grader and has continued to sing since then, even after quitting NCC to play volleyball (shhh). Even as a bench warmer for the volleyball team, Stella committed herself to school choirs throughout middle school and high school, and in high school, she joined a student-run a-cappella group. Like many Mates, Stella dabbled in theater growing up, recently taking on the role of Widow Corney in her high school senior year musical, Oliver! Before coming to Tufts, Stella’s goal was to do collegiate a cappella, and she couldn’t be more thrilled to have joined the Mate community.

Stella hopes to declare a major in environmental science, with a possible political science minor. Aside from her interests in music, you can find Stella going on hikes, spending time at the beach, playing endless Phoebe Bridgers songs on guitar, or bumping around a volleyball. Stella also loves to ski (remember, she has seen snow), venture to the mountains with her family, and spend the summers in Montenegro with her extended family. But most importantly, Stella is exhilarated to be a Mate. One may say she has no ******* idea!
