Adi trekked to Tufts from the distant town of Acton, MA (it's a 40-minute car ride). His full name, "Aditya," is another name for the sun god in Hindu mythology, which he finds quite humorous because he despises warm weather. Although Adi was birthed as a 'Mate somewhat recently, he is showing remarkable developmental progress; he learned to walk and is starting to eat solid foods, but he still has no sense of smell (that may just be the flu, though).

In elementary school, Adi played the piano for several years, partook in recorder karate where he earned his black belt by squeaking out a take on the Star Spangled Banner à la Fergie, and had a brief entanglement with the trombone. However, he eventually settled on using his vocal cords when he could no longer stand lugging around a heavy, oblong case on the school bus every Tuesday morning. Adi became involved with choir and a cappella soon afterward so he could terrorize innocent civilians in the Greater Boston area and beyond.

Adi is glad he can channel his innate urge to make noise constantly into something productive (maybe) with the 'Mates. His hobbies include doing one-handed cartwheels, watching horror movies, and showing people pictures of his dog, Merlin.
