“[Will Garrett is] talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show-stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before” - Lady Gaga

Growing up in North Wales, Pennsylvania, home of John Oates, and being asked “is that in the UK?” Will was often found singing, exploring outside, or torturing his two older brothers without remorse. He has had formal piano, flute, and singing training and can theoretically “play” the bassoon, and yet still can’t read the bass clef. He graduated from Strath Haven High School in 2021 and came to Tufts to pursue his one true passion, becoming a Pitch Perfect re-enactor. Will is currently working on a major in Applied Math and a minor in Chinese all with a focus on sustainability. Will is a triple threat, so please, for your sanity, don’t ask him about his favorite musicals, you will be there for hours (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is #1 in case you’re curious). Will was a member of the Silvertones of Strath Haven High School, a highly selective choral group that performed classical A Cappella music regionally and internationally. The group received perfect marks from Facebook Moms everywhere and questionable looks from bystanders so a win-win all around. In the Silvertones, he learned to arrange and conduct choral music as well as how to sing at 7 in the morning. Will has also been part of numerous other choral and orchestral ensembles throughout his life, all while hoping no one finds out he is just three huskies stacked on top of each other wearing colorful pants and a pair of unique socks. Will is Ariana Grande’s number three fan (don’t fact check that) and can sing every song from her discography, although he is a devout AlunaGeorge fan as well.

Outside of the ‘Mates, Will enjoys long walks on the beach and embroidering, and sometimes both at the same time. Will would like to thank his family, his dog Koko and all the people he used as rungs on his ladder to greatness for all their support and kindness. He truly couldn’t be where he is now without them.
