Ani is so excited to continue her musical journey with the ‘Mates! Ani is from the hamlet of Loudonville, just outside of Albany, NY where some of her earliest memories singing with friends and family are at the Loudon Green.

Ani found her love for the cello at age five, when she refused to stand up to play the violin. Although she still breaks a few bow hairs playing her favorite 2Cellos rendition of Smooth Criminal, singing has been her lifelong passion. Symphony orchestras, choirs, chambers, solo concerts, musicals, and her dream role as Mary Poppins have filled Ani’s musical world, but none as exciting as the great fortune of becoming a ‘Mate!

Ani plans to double major in Mechanical Engineering and Music. Ani loves being in nature- especially her beloved Adirondack Mountains- skiing, tennis, making art, attempting to learn guitar and piano, and rapping (including but not limited to the entirety of Hamilton). Having the opportunity to perform in beautiful music halls, Ani envisions composing and performing her songs in a music hall of her own design.
