Georgia Kay was born in Chicago, IL via birth canal. Don’t ask Georgia about Chicago unless you are ready for multi-hour monologue as to why it is the best (and windiest) city in the world. As a young child, she often scared her preschool peers by singing loudly at them in a language that consisted of mostly giberish and humming. In a predictable fashion, Georgia participated in any and every musical activity at her disposal (the most important being her vibrant trumpet career 4th-5th grade). In high school, Georgia attempted to balance her time between singing and dancing in the Chicago Children’s Choir and knitting as much as possible. She is sooOOoo excited to continue singing in college with the ‘Mates!
At Tufts, Georgia spends most of her time staring at a pillow with her dog’s face on it and watching The West Wing. When she’s not in bed, Georgia participates in various activist groups on campus through Tufts Labor Coalition and attempts to learn the spanish language. If Georgia ever looks like she’s feeling down or blue, a photo or meme of sloths doing silly things will literally always make her feel better.
