Bio: Marshall Knight (aka Salt Marsh, The Dark Knight, M. Knight Shyamalan) dwells from the land of Weston, Massachusetts. He is an old soul trapped in a young man’s body. Exposed to the likes of Dylan and The Beatles from a young age, The Dark Knight developed a particular taste in music early on. From there, he took his interest further, picking up the guitar and expanding his musical knowledge, eventually falling under the psychedelic spell of the Grateful Dead and the lyrical genius of The Avett Brothers. Marshall has typically been known as a primary guitar player and a secondary singer, as he never sang formally until coming to Tufts and joining the Amalgamates. He first displayed his folky, yet smooth vocal chords in high school during his performance of The Gardener by The Tallest Man on Earth, another favorite of Salt Marsh’s. It always seems that the quietest people are the ones remembered on stage.
His nonmusical hobbies include whipping out the ole niblick on the golf course, browsing memes on Instagram, watching the Patriots religiously, and curling up with a good book only to fall asleep after the first three words.
